COHEMI Project Publications

The COHEMI network, during the first few years of activities, produced many articles published in scientific papers, participated in many congresses/conferences, and organized national and international meetings, workshops and congresses.

The COHEMI project started in 2011 and this is the final year of activities. Globally, until now, 19 papers have been published, and others have been submitted concerning Chagas diseases, Cysticercosis-Epilepsy, Strongyloidiasis, Tuberculosis, Hypertension.

Social Protection Interventions for Tuberculosis Control: The Impact, the Challenges and the Way Forward

The meeting, a two-day expert consultation held in February, 16th-17th 2012 (Chatham House, London, UK), addressed how best to design and evaluate social protection interventions for tuberculosis control.

It brought together epidemiologists, analysts and economists to identify the tuberculosis-sensitive social protection needs, and explore potential ideas for actions. At the following link you can find a summary of the meeting.

News March - 12th 2012, Geneva, Switzerland

DNDi Secures EUR 2 Million Strategic Translation Award from Wellcome Trust to Develop a New Drug against Chagas Disease.

The Award, the first that DNDi has received from the Wellcome Trust, will take the project to the end of Phase II clinical trials.
